Light rail service between Denver and Aurora delayed by power outage

A power outage caused delays on the light rail between Denver and Aurora during the snowy morning commute.

Light rail service between the Dayton and Nine Mile stations was delayed about 30 minutes, according to the Regional Transportation District.

"Delays expected on H Line," RTD tweeted just after 7 a.m.

The problem was resolved about 15 minutes later, but the notification did not go out for 30 minutes, and RTD spokesperson told 7NEWS Reporter Tyler Lopez.
