DENVER - A mechanical problem with a light rail train forced RTD to bring in buses for D line users on Friday morning.

RTD Tweeted out Friday morning at 10:26 a.m. that there was a mechanical issue along the D line.

RTD's spokesman Scott Reed said a light rail train was disabled and had to be pulled out of the way near the Elati yard.

During the outage, buses were brought in to shuttle light rail riders from Broadway to Englewood.

The situation was resolved in about an hour.

The D Line runs from Littleton to downtown Denver and on to 30th and Downing.
