DENVER – Good morning! Here’s what you need to know today, Thursday, Nov. 9.

1. High levels of lead in some fidget spinners
According to consumer group CoPIRG, two particular fidget spinners -- Fidget Wild Premium Spinner Brass and Fidget Wild Premium Spinner Metal -- contain high levels of lead. They're both for sale at Target stores nationwide.

2. What's inspiring democrats across US
The party faithful say their victories in Virginia and New Jersey — their first of the young Trump era — mark the beginning of an anti-Trump wave that could re-shape the balance of power in Congress in 2018.

3. Behind scenes, a search for common ground
Trump's two-day visit to China opens with diplomatic niceties, but thorny issues including trade and North Korea await behind closed doors.

4. Meeker Elementary School partially open
The school will reopen for some students after a water main break flooded the school earlier this week. 5th graders and special needs students will be at the school. Students in other grades should be dropped off at the school but they'll be bused over to Greeley Generations Church for classes.

5. Pleasant weather trend continues
Our pleasant weather trend will continue on Thursday with sunshine and highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. The northeast corner of the state will be colder, on the edge of a chilly air mass that will push down from Canada across the Midwest.
