Lawsuit filed to declare Longmont home a public nuisance

LONGMONT, Colo. - The Boulder District Attorney's Office has filed a lawsuit seeking to have a home in Longmont declared a public nuisance.

Neighbors have been complaining about activities at the home for weeks -- including broken meth pipes and used syringes on and around the property.

During a raid in December, police say they found 13 people in the house, including an infant. SWAT teams also raided the house in August 2011 and October 2012, according to the lawsuit.

According to the Longmont Times-Call, owner Silverio Nuanez was arrested last week on a warrant for failing to comply with terms and conditions of a drug possession conviction and was in the Boulder County Jail on Monday when the lawsuit was filed.
