FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is using a mobile traffic camera to spy on panhandlers and enforce a new law.

Capt. John Manago says the camera is a highly visible deterrent that keeps panhandlers away from one of their favorite haunts, where asking for money is now prohibited.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan the camera was bought with a grant. The only costs are fuel for a generator and the rare occasion that people are sent to cart it around.
