AURORA, Colo. – Police in Aurora announced an arrest in connection to a shooting on board an RTD bus over the weekend.
An unidentified juvenile male was arrested Wednesday for allegedly shooting an adult man who was riding on an RTD bus at East Colfax Avenue and Sable Boulevard.
The shooting occurred around 2:50 p.m. Sunday. Police said the victim suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound. His current condition or identity is unknown.
Investigators have yet to release the circumstances that led up to the shooting. It’s not clear if the victim was targeted.
The juvenile suspect is being held on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder.
