GREELEY, Colo. - A man has been sentenced to two years in prison for hiding a video camera in a family changing room at the Greeley Family FunPlex.
A woman discovered the hidden camera on July 29, 2012 inside a fake air freshener at the recreation center, mounted on a wall of the changing room. Greeley police investigators removed the camera and were able to retrieve images of Justin Robert West setting up the camera.
West was eventually traced to Iowa where he was arrested and extradited to Colorado.
"Our investigation indicates West has been traveling to different states and attending various arts and crafts sites with his family," Greeley police said when West was located.
As part of a plea bargain, West pleaded guilty to a single count of invasion of privacy for sexual gratification, a class-six felony, and one count of invasion of privacy for sexual gratification, a class-one misdemeanor.
