ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. - The 27-year-old parolee accused of kidnapping an 8-year-old girl from her Aurora bedroom pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning.
John Snorsky faces six charges, including second-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary and enticement of a child, all felonies.
Prosecutors say Snorsky pulled the girl through her bedroom window on Oct. 28, but she managed to escape when she pinched him and screamed. The girl's parents awoke to her screams and found her missing from her room.
Her father ran outside, where he saw the girl running toward him from an alley.
Snorsky was arrested the next day and has denied any involvement in the kidnapping.
Snorsky's DNA was found on the girl's pajamas, investigators said.
