With snowstorm after snowstorm this month, many are asking when will it end?

According to the National Weather Service, the average date of the last measurable snow fall in Denver is April 26.

Over the last 10 years, the last measurable snow fall has happened as early as April 3 (last year) and as late as May 14 (2008), but it's often in May:

- April 3, 2012

- May 11, 2011

- May 12, 2010

- April 27, 2009

- May 14, 2008

- April 14, 2007

- May 10, 2006

- May 2, 2005

- April 30, 2004

- May 10, 2003

The record for the latest date of the last snow in Denver? June 12 in 1947.

And if you're hoping to start planting outside, the average date of the last freeze is May 5, but in the last 10 years it's been as early as April 16 and as late as June 8.
