Iowa guardsmen to help Colorado flooding victims

WATERLOO, Iowa - Several Iowa National Guard members are coming to Colorado to help flood victims.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports that five guardsmen left Monday from the Waterloo airport. Others left from Des Moines and the Quad Cities area.
Guard Col. Greg Hapgood said the soldiers include pilots, crew chiefs and aircraft fuelers who will be stationed in Aurora for about 10 days. The helicopters are already there.
The guardsmen will use helicopters to carry medical help to stranded residents and to evacuate injured people
