LONGMONT, Colo. - Investigators are beginning to search the rubble of an apartment building in Longmont to determine how a destructive fire started.
The fire broke out at the six-unit building on S. Coffman Street near Main Street and Quebec Avenue around 10 p.m. Thursday. There were two flareups overnight and the building was still smoldering at 7 a.m. on Friday.
The fire heavily damaged the two-story building. Fire investigators told 7NEWS 25 people were displaced.
There was no immediate indication of a cause.
One person was hurt. That person was treated on the scene, according to fire investigators.
