COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police say they have linked an inmate in Canon City to the death of an Antlers Plaza Hotel employee 36 years ago.

Police said Wednesday that 58-year-old Robert Baillie is suspected of killing Janet K. Conrad, who was found Dec. 3, 1976, in a laundry room of the hotel.

Investigators say a DNA analysis led to Baillie's arrest. He was already imprisoned in Canon City to serve a sentence for sexual assault. He's eligible for parole in January 2014.

It wasn't immediately known whether Baillie has a lawyer who could comment on his behalf.
