I-25 reopened in both directions from Wellington to Wyoming border after accidents are cleared

CSP patrol car struck by another vehicle

Interstate 25 has reopened in both directions from Wellington to the Wyoming state line after crews cleared multiple crashes on Monday afternoon.

The major highway reopened just after 2 p.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation said.

In one crash, the Colorado State Patrol said a driver ran into a patrol car while the trooper was investigating a previous accident. The trooper was not hurt.

Blowing snow and slick, snow-packed roads created hazardous conditions.
