All southbound lanes on I-25 have been reopened following an accident at County Line Road, an official with the Colorado Department of Transportation tweeted.

The accident was reported early Saturday afternoon at 1:20 p.m. through a tweet by the agency.

The two-vehicle accident resulted in one man being ejected from his vehicle. That man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, Lone Tree Police Department spokeswoman Kristen Knoll said.

He was the only one injured in this incident, she added.

All but one lane on southbound I-25 were closed. One northbound lane was also closed due to a large piece of concrete debris that ended up in the roadway.

The accident is still under investigation by the Lone Tree Police Department.
