DENVER - A hydrant broke on Wednesday flooding a hotel construction site.

Workers arrived at the site near Interstate 25 and Hampden Avenue and found water everywhere.

Denver Water told 7NEWS they believe the hydrant broke around 6:15 a.m. and they got the water shut off at 6:38 a.m.

The water flooded the construction site and part of a road near at least one home.
