Hundreds of Ft. Carson soldiers return home

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Nearly 200 soldiers returned home on Monday night, reuniting with their families after serving overseas. 

The 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division returned home late Monday, with a celebration running through the early morning. 

The soldiers had deployed to Afghanistan in February as part of a U.S. program to advise military personnel in that country. 

Family members were overjoyed to be reunited with their loved ones, with tears flowing as husbands and wives came together again with their children, friends and more.
