DENVER - A house fire in Connecticut has taken the life of a University of Denver student.
The Hour newspaper reported that 22-year-old David Dubrow, of Florida, died Wednesday from injuries he suffered in the Aug. 18 fire. The medical examiner's office concluded the cause of death was "accidental/thermal injuries."
Dubrow attended DU.
Another man, 22-year-old Norwalk native Michael Ness, died two days after the fire. Two other men were injured but survived.
Firefighters said Dubrow and Ness were trapped inside and the other two men jumped out of windows.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
