Homeless man wins $50,000 from a Colorado Lottery scratch ticket

DENVER – A man who recently fell on hard times and had to live at the Denver Rescue Mission is now $50,000 richer.

Adam H. purchased a Poker Celebration scratch ticket and won the jackpot! The odds were 1 in 520,000.

Adam was presented with a check from the Colorado Lottery on Feb. 23. He told them he is going to use the prize money to move back to Kentucky so he can be with his daughter.
