Homecoming ceremony planned for 250 Fort Carson soldiers returning from Afghanistan Monday

Approximately 3,000 soldiers were deployed

FORT CARSON, Colo. -  

A homecoming ceremony is being held Monday for about 250 Fort Carson soldiers returning from Afghanistan.
 
The 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, was deployed in February in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
 
Of the approximately 3,000 soldiers who were deployed, nearly 800 have received combat action badges for performing their duties under fire.
