Home of Dylan Redwine's father searched again

DURANGO, Colo. - The La Plata County Sheriff’s Office again searched the house and property of Mark Redwine, the father of the 13-year-old Dylan Redwine who went missing nine months ago and whose remains were found in June.

The search warrant was executed Wednesday in cooperation with the FBI and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, Sheriff Duke Schirard told the Durango Herald.

"It’s just follow up on the still wide-open investigation," Schirard  said. "We continue to seek every lead that we can and follow up on every lead that we can."

Schirard said he would learn Thursday if the search turned up any new evidence that will move the case forward.

It was at least the second time investigators searched the home and the property.  The first time was shortly after Redwine disappeared.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been named in the criminal investigation.

The Durango Herald said it would have more information on Thursday.
