DENVER - A southwest Denver home was heavily damaged by fire Thursday night and the cause is under investigation.

Everyone made it out of the home safely but firefighters had a tough time battling the blaze in the 2700 block of South Bryan Street, near Yale Avenue.

Fire crews kept an eye on several propane tanks to make sure the fire didn't spread.

There was no immediate damage estimate from the fire, but Denver Fire said the home appears to be a total loss.

Investigators said they don't have the cause of the fire yet, but they said the fire started in the interior of the house.
