DENVER - A 12-year-old child was hit by a vehicle outside a Denver school on Thursday morning by a driver who sped away, Denver Police said.
The boy was hit in the crosswalk in front of Lake Middle School at 1820 Lowell Boulevard.
The victim was taken to the hospital. Police said his injuries were mainly road rash and not life-threatening.
Denver Police said they are looking for a late 90’s model, green, Toyota truck with Colorado license plate number 255 WWL.
