A hiker is missing after not returning home from St. Mary's Glacier on Saturday, the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office said Sunday.
An Alpine Rescue Team has been actively searching for a 50-year-old male since Saturday evening. Members from Rocky Mountain Rescue and Front Range Rescue dogs joined the search on Sunday, according to a Clear Creek County Sheriff's spokesperson.
Weather conditions have been cold and snowy, with extremely high winds and poor visibility.
Plans are being coordinated to continue the search into Monday.
