DENVER – Residents across Colorado will have a chance to speak directly to transportation officials during a series of telephone town halls over the next two weeks.

From now until June 13th, residents in all 64 counties will receive phone calls from CDOT at random, giving them the option to take part.

Officials are reaching out to 350,000 people about the transportation needs in their communities so that resources can be directed to where they’re needed.

“This gives citizens across the state a wonderful opportunity to call in, to find out what’s going on with transportation, with transportation projects around the state and in their regions,” said CDOT spokeswoman Tamara Rollison.

The town halls are scheduled out by region, starting with the Denver metro area this Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m., followed by southeastern Colorado, the Western Slope and northwestern Colorado next Monday and the northeastern and southwestern portions of the state next Tuesday.

If you don’t receive a phone call but still want to take part, you can do so by calling 1-877-229-8493. The PIN to get into the town hall meetings is 112034.
