Here's something to share on social media over the weekend: You test driving an electric vehicle not too far from home! (because a hoverboard is so 2014)
Saturday is the start of National Drive Electric Week, and popular models such as the Tesla S, Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid and the BMW i3 will be available to test drive at several different locations throughout the state.
The event hopes to raise awareness of the availability of electric cars, trucks, motorcycles and more and how they help the environment, help create jobs and reduce consumer's dependence on foreign oil.
National Drive Electric Week runs until Sept. 20.
