COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo — An escaped herd of cattle were probably not betting on the cowboy skills of a few Colorado State Troopers.
The cows, apparently seeking better pasture, escaped from their pen near Colorado Springs Wednesday.
However, they didn’t get too far. The Colorado State Patrol tweeted pictures showing a couple of troopers herding the cows back into their pen.
Troopers say the five cattle made their escape by busting open a gate. The herd almost made it to Interstate 25 before troopers were able to corral them.
