Helmeted skier dies after hitting tree at Keystone Ski Resort

KEYSTONE, Colo. - A 27-year-old skier from New Mexico was killed at Keystone Ski Resort Friday.

The Summit County Coroner's Office said Arthur Glaz collided with a tree on the intermediate trail "Porcupine" Friday afternoon.  He was wearing a helmet at the time.

Glaz was taken to Summit Medical Center where he died.

"The circumstances and manner of death are consistent with an accident," the coroner's office said.
The man's family has been notified of his death.
