Helicopter flying over CU, Folsom Field on Wed. for stadium improvements

BOULDER, Colo. - A helicopter will be hovering and flying around the University of Colorado Boulder campus today.
The helicopter will be in and near Folsom Field from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help with a project to upgrade existing wireless equipment.
The helicopter will be used several times during the day to remove existing equipment from the roof of the stadium’s skyboxes and lift new equipment into place.
The helicopter will be used because the distance required for maintenance is too far for the reach of a crane, school officials said.
Traffic will be restricted on Franklin Drive.
