Heavy rain continues to cause flooding concerns across Colorado Wednesday

A flash flood watch remains in effect for much of Colorado until late today after heavy rains drenched many areas of the state yesterday.

Up to three inches of rain fell in less than an hour in some places yesterday afternoon. The Greeley Tribune reports firefighters in Windsor rescued at least five motorists after they drove into standing water.

Street flooding was reported in several areas in Denver and north of the city in Weld and Larimer counties.
