GREEN VALLEY RANCH, Colo. - One of the areas suffering the worst hail damage from Wednesday's storm was Green Valley Ranch, just south of Denver International Airport.
7NEWS Reporter Molly Hendrickson said the damage was "incredible." She saw homes and cars heavily damaged by the hail.
She also found picket fences with angular holes in them, caused by the hail going completely through the fence at a downward angle.
Homes she saw had heavy hail damage that included shattered windows, screens ripped and pitted siding.
Hendrickson also saw hail-damaged cars with dimples all over the bodies. One Jeep, with a plastic rear window, had the entire window ripped out.
"People are in shock out here right now," she reported at about 4:45 p.m.
