GREELEY, Colo. - After pleading guilty to selling methamphetamine out of her home in Greeley, a woman was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Betty Lucero, 52, pleaded guilty Monday to distribution of a Schedule II controlled substance, a felony. The sentencing followed immediately afterward.
Weld County District Attorney spokesman Heath Montgomery said police and court records show Lucero sold the drugs from her home in the 1500 block of 2nd Avenue. She was arrested in May after selling meth to another person who resold it to an undercover officer.
Lucero is the third person in the last week to be sentenced to 10 years in prison for methamphetamine-related crimes in Weld County.
