GREELEY, Colo. - A longtime Greeley Spanish teacher who had a child with a teenage student is going to jail.

Rhonda Eisenberg, 44, was arrested last year after police said she admitted having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student in 2010.

Prosecutors said Eisenberg was a teacher at Northridge High School at the time, and the student was living under her care.

Eisenberg later gave birth to a child as a result of the relationship, prosecutors said.

Under a plea agreement, Eisenberg pleaded guilty to one count of attempted sex assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, a class-five felony.

Prosecutors said she will be sentenced to 90 days in jail and probation. Eisenberg will be sentenced in March.

Prosecutors did not release any information about the baby.
