DENVER -- Instead of climbing over each other for deals on Black Friday, a social media movement to climb a mountain or otherwise just get outside is gaining momentum, and Lyft is helping you #OptOutside.
This Friday, both new and existing Lyft users can receive one free ride, up to $10, to or from the following parks in the Denver area: Washington Park, City Park, Cheesman Park, Alamo Placita Park, Confluence Park, Commons Park, Curtis Park, Sloan’s Lake Park, Barnum Park, Ruby Hill Park, Governor’s Park, Highlands Park, Civic Center Park, Sunken Gardens, Lincoln Park, Congress Park, Rocky Mountain Lake, Jefferson Park.
Lyft passengers need only enter promo code OPTOUTSIDEDEN in their Lyft app to redeem the offer, while supplies last.
The #OptOutside movement was started by REI in 2015 as a way to encourage people to get more active.
