DENVER – Three people have already been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a Denver 7-Eelven back in July, but a fourth suspect continues to elude capture.
Denver Police renewed its efforts Friday to put Davon Houston, 24, behind bars. He is wanted for the shooting death of Justin Slyter, 39, outside the East Colfax 7-Eleven the night of July 9.
Ru Shawn Bykei Wharton, 41; David Houston, 25, and an unnamed juvenile were arrested weeks following the shooting.
Police say Slyter was shot and killed attempting to get his wallet back from the suspects who police say stole it from the victim during an altercation outside the convenience store.
