Frontier Airlines flight to Denver makes emergency landing in Indianapoli

Plane was flying to Washington D.C.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - A flight to Denver with 171 people on board had to make an emergency landing in Indianapolis on Wednesday evening.

Frontier Airlines flight 419 from Washington, D.C. made the unscheduled stop at Indianapolis International Airport due to concerns over a hydraulic problem, officials said.

The plane landed without incident at 8 p.m.

Officials said a spare plane in Indianapolis will take many of the passengers on to Denver later in the evening. The plane cannot hold all of the passengers that were on the original plane, so some will have to spend the night in Indianapolis.
