6:18 a.m.: Police say the crash at Federal and U.S. 36 is fatal. It appears a pedestrian walking along Federal stepped off the median and was hit by a car.
5:37 a.m.: The southbound lanes of Federal Blvd. are closed at Highway 36 due to a crash. The westbound ramp from 36 to southbound Federal also is closed.
