FRISCO, Colo. - A judge has ruled there is enough evidence to move forward with a case against a Michigan man accused of beating another man to death at a Frisco motel.
The Summit Daily reports (http://bit.ly/1nSfZZT ) 42-year-old Charles Lee Sattler, of Oxford, Michigan, appeared in court Thursday for a preliminary hearing involving the April 14 death of 38-year-old Blake Bostic, of Frisco.
Prosecutors say Sattler, a former amateur boxer, beat Bostic to death during an argument at the Snowshoe Motel. Sattler's attorneys argued their client was acting in self-defense.
Sattler is facing charges of second-degree murder and first-degree assault.
The coroner's office says Bostic died of head and neck injuries from blunt force trauma consistent with a fight.
