Fort Carson soldier found dead after suspected weekend rape

FORT CARSON, Colo. - One of two Fort Carson soldiers under investigation for a possible rape has been found dead, Fort Carson officials said Wednesday.
Authorities did not say when the soldier's body was found but did say the "possible rape" was believed to have been committed over the weekend.
"The cause of death and the suspected rape are still under investigation by law enforcement officials," a statement said.
No charges have yet been filed in the suspected rape.
