BOULDER, Colo. - A man accused of posing as a teen girl online to get other girls to send him sexually explicit photos has been arrested again -- this time on suspicion of DUI.
The Daily Camera reports the Boulder County Sheriff's Office arrested 22-year-old Bret Michael Butler early yesterday. Butler, a former Naval Academy midshipman, already faces several counts of child sexual exploitation stemming from a Boulder police investigation that began almost a year ago.
Court records say police recovered more than 20 sexually graphic images of children on Butler's cellphone and computers, and he is accused of posing as a girl to communicate with other underage girls.
Butler, who was arrested in August, is set to be arraigned Jan. 24 on the sexual exploitation charges and is scheduled to return to court Feb. 10 on the DUI charge.
