WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. - Fliers went up this weekend around Wheat Ridge asking for the public's help to find a missing woman.

Leann "Anne" Meyer, who turned 52 on Friday, disappeared at least 14 days ago. She spoke to a friend on the phone Feb. 23.  Police said a text message came from her phone to her employer on Feb. 25. However, she has not been seen or heard from since then.

Meyer's friends put fliers up at businesses near 38th and Wadsworth.

The fliers say, "Missing, Annie Meyer, 5'7" tall, blue eyes."

Under Meyer's photo, the flier says, "Please contact Wheat Ridge Police at 303-237-2220 if you have seen Annie or have any information regarding her whereabouts since February 24th. $1,000 Reward for information leading to finding Annie."

Meyer's co-workers are also offering an $8,000 reward.

Meyer's mother said Annie would not have taken off by herself.

"She's just not that kind of person," said Pat Meyer. "There's no answers. That's the hard part."

Police searched Annie Meyer's home for the third time last Thursday.

Investigators want to question Meyer's roommate, Melissa Miller, but Wheat Ridge Police Cmdr. Dave Pickett said the woman has not been cooperative.

"We haven't learned much from the roommate," said Pickett. "We've talked to her a couple of times on the phone, and would really like to speak to her in person."

Miller has not been home since March 4, police said.

Meyer vehicles are missing. They are a 2009 Silver Toyota Rav4 bearing Colorado license plate 975 YUH and a 1995 Silver Toyota pickup with Colorado license plate 688 DJH.

Friends describe Meyer as a long-time Wheat Ridge resident who loves camping, golf and softball.

Meyer is 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has blue eyes and gray-brown hair.

Anyone with information about Meyer is asked to call the Wheat Ridge Police Department at 303-237-2220.
