Fliers handed out for missing Greenwood Village teen who disappeared April 23

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. - Greenwood Village police hope someone in the the community can help find a runaway 15-year-old girl missing since April 23.

Ava Reinhard was last seen that morning, she was wearing black yoga pants and a black T-shirt, but may have changed clothes before leaving home.

Ava did not attend school that day. Due to the late start and testing of the junior class, the notification that she did not attend class was not received until 7 p.m. that night.  She also left without taking her cellphone.

Reinhard is 5-feet 7-inches tall, 135 pounds, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She a sophomore at Cherry Creek High School.

Reinhard may be with two young adult males who go by the names of "Ghost" and "Juice," police said.

They may travel to San Francisco, California, Albuquerque, New Mexico, or to Denver, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.  

Saturday, May 3, family, friends and volunteers gathered at Union Station to pass out fliers throughout the downtown area.

Anyone with information on Reinhard's whereabouts is asked to call Greenwood Village police at 303-773-2525.

On Friday, the family posted on their Finda Ava Facebook page tht a $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone who provides direct information to find Ava. All tips need to be verified.
