DENVER -- Good morning! Here's what you need to know today, Tuesday, June 20.

1. Heat wave continues
A HEAT ADVISORY has been issued for parts of the Western Slope beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Expect triple digits heat near Grand Junction and across parts of southeastern Colorado. Temperatures will climb to the mid 90s in Denver.

2. Governor requesting $3.1 million in emergency funding to keep energy office afloat
Governor John Hickenlooper is requesting the Joint Budget Committee (JBC) to make a decision about funding for Colorado’s Energy Office on Tuesday. 

3. Suspect in fatal stabbing appears in court
Jose Lozoya will be arraigned on Tuesday for fatally stabbing an Aurora teen in January.

4. Move Over Campaign continues
The Colorado State Patrol is extending the Move-Over campaign Tuesday. The "Move-Over" law requires motorists to move over one lane to provide a safety buffer for emergency vehicles.

5. It's the last day of spring!
Summer officially begins tonight (at 10:24 p.m. MT).
