DENVER — On Saturday, all first responders and members of the armed services will get free admission to Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park for Heroes’ Day.
In a press release, Elitch Gardens said it wants to thank those individuals with a free ticket, which can be obtained at the main gate by showing their issued badge.
Friends and family discount tickets can be purchased at the main gate ticket window for $27.99 if they are accompanied by a first responder or member of the armed services.
The 101st Army Dixieland Band will perform Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the park’s Big Wheel stage.
The park is open Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
