Fire burns in homeless camp near banks of Cherry Creek

DENVER -- A homeless camp burned along with several school buses near the banks of Cherry Creek Friday night.

The fire, which had several sources fueling the flames, spread to a storage yard and damaged half-a-dozen vehicles and other stored items. 

It is unknown if anyone was injured, as the camp was cleared when firefighters and investigators went to the scene.

The fire was located in the area of Iliff and Quebec.
