Fire breaks out at Denver Place office towers in downtown Denver Sunday morning

DENVER - A fire broke out at a large office complex in downtown Denver Sunday morning.

A ceiling fire was reported on the third floor of the Denver Place office complex at 999 18th Street at 8:45 a.m., according Mark Watson with the Denver Fire Department.

The fire was contained in the North Terrace, between the third and fourth floors, officials said.

Only a few were people inside and no one was seriously hurt.

It appears the fire was started accidentally, officials on the scene told 7NEWS Photojournalist Richard Cote.

The fire was extinguished by about 10:15 a.m.
