CHEYENNE, Wyoming - A fiery truck crash in Wyoming closed Interstate 25 north of Wellington on Tuesday morning.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol said two commercial trucks were about two miles north of the Colorado border when the drivers collided.
Investigators believe Anthony Harvey, of Florida, was slowing down looking for the I-25 Port of Entry and the driver behind him, Servio Castanon, of California, didn't notice and rear-ended the first truck.
"The crash caused the two truck combinations to become stuck together on the shoulder of the northbound lane of Interstate 25," according to Sgt. David Wagener.
Wagener said the crash ignited a fire that engulfed both trucks.
Troopers said Castanon and a passenger in his truck were taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
Castanon is being investigated for following too close, Wagener said.
