FEMA to canvass Aurora for homeowners affected by flooding

AURORA, Colo. - FEMA will send a field team on Sunday to begin resident registration in the Aurora neighborhoods hardest hit by last weekends’ flooding event.

They will go door-to-door  to register the homeowners with FEMA for possible assistance.   They will be starting in the Del Mar area, approximately 2nd Avenue on the South, Potomac on the East, 6th Avenue on the North and Havana on the West.

FEMA will also be setting up a "center" for FEMA to provide the same kind of registration assistance for residents and businesses at one location. FEMA will identify the site early in the coming week.
