FEMA opens disaster recovery centers in Idaho Springs, Boulder, Greeley, Estes Park, Longmont, more

IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. - FEMA is opening a disaster recovering center in a sixth county in Colorado.

The latest center is in Idaho Springs for residents who have suffered losses and damages as a result of the severe storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides.

The Clear Creek County disaster recovery center is at the Clear Creek County School District RE1 Office at 320 Highway 103 in Idaho Springs. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

Disaster recovery centers are also open in Adams, Boulder, El Paso, Larimer and Weld counties:

-- ADAMS COUNTY, South Adams County Fire Department, 4711 E. 69th Ave., Commerce City, CO 80022. Hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

-- BOULDER COUNTY, Premier Credit Union Building, 5495 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder, CO 80303 and Twin Peaks Mall, 1250 S. Hover Road, Longmont, CO 80501. Both are open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

-- EL PASO COUNTY, Colorado Springs Fire Training Center, 375 Printers Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

-- LARIMER COUNTY, Rocky Mountain Park Inn Conference Center, 101 S. St. Vrain Ave., Estes Park, CO. 80517. Hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

-- LARIMER COUNTY, Rocky Mountain Center for Innovation and Technology, 815 14th St. SW., Loveland, CO 80537. Hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

-- WELD COUNTY, Island Grove Exhibition Hall, 525 N. 15th Ave., Greeley, CO 80631. Hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

-- WELD COUNTY, Milliken Community Complex, 1101 Broad St., Milliken, CO 80543. Hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

Representatives from FEMA and the Small Business Administration are among the agencies represented at each center to explain assistance programs and help survivors apply for disaster aid.

Residents with losses can also registering for help from FEMA before going to a DRC. Register with by phone at  800-621-FEMA (3362).
