ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Police are looking for a man who they say attempted to lure children in the area of South Zuni Street and West Wesley Street in Englewood.
Police said the unidentified man approached several elementary school students on Monday. The incident happened shortly after the kids were just dropped off at a bus stop in the area.
The man made disturbing and inappropriate comments. One child who was approached tells Denver7 the man said "bad words."
"I don’t know what to say, it’s kind of scary because he’s just a little boy, they’re just little kids," said Solomon Martinez, the boy's grandfather.
Parents reported the incident to the Englewood Police Department. Police notified the school district about the incident on Tuesday.
Englewood police are also stepping up patrols in the area with uniformed officers and detectives in unmarked cars.
The man is described as a white male, approximately 20 to 30-years-old with heavy-framed glasses and brown hair. He was driving a black or grey Chevy Astrovan.

- Tell your student to walk in groups
- Know your child's route in case something happens
- Tell them to be aware of their surroundings
- Make sure kids walk in well-traveled areas
