I-70 reopens east of Denver to Kansas border

Multiple crashes and icy conditions closed both directions of Interstate 70 east of Denver Sunday morning but the highway was reopened Sunday afternoon..
Eastbound I-70 reopened from Airpark Road near Watkins to Burlington at 2:15 p.m. after being closed because of icy conditions.
Westbound I-70 opened at about 3:45 p.m.
The interstate had been closed since Saturday, when blowing snow forced CDOT to shut it to traffic. All motels in Limon were filled because of the closure.
